AIB Munster Intermediate Club Championship FinalNov 11

AIB Munster Intermediate Club Championship FinalThe AIB Munster Intermediate Club Championship Final between Newcestown (Cork) and Lismore (Waterford), at 2pm in Cahir will see Cork Champions go up against Waterford Champions Lismore. Lismore have previously had the honour of playing host to the Trixie Twomey Cup and will no doubt put up a huge battle to take the Cup back down to the South East this afternoon. However the ladies in the red & yellow of Newcestown will have other ideas and will leave no stone unturned (or sliotar pucked!!) to bring the cup home for its winter soujourn. PHOTOS » FULL STORY »

AIB Munster Senior Club Championship Final Nov 11

AIB Munster Senior Club Championship Final The AIB Munster Senior Club Championship Final at 2pm in the Gaelic Grounds this afternoon pits reigning Champions Burgess Duharra (Tiobraid Árann) against first time finalists Inagh Kilnamona (An Clár). Both panels have had success in the Munster Senior Club 7 and Kilmacud Crokes 7s this year, whilst also lifting the title of Senior County Champions. Burgess Duharra made it 6 consecutive Tipperary Senior County title wins, while Inagh Kilnamona made it back to back to titles in Clare. Both sides can call on the experience of Inter County players, and allied with the youth & experience each panel has, we are sure of a competitive game once the sliotar is thrown in. The Thomais MhicDhonncha Cup boasts a Roll of Honour that dates back to 1964 with no less than 18 Club names inscribed on it. All that remains to be seen now is will it be Burgess Duharra or Inagh Kilnamona which will be inscribed on it beside 2017? PHOTOS » FULL STORY »
